Shutting down wordpress, moving hugo over

I plan to (soon) close down the wordpress instance that lives at brimwats.com and replace it with the static brimwats.com/me hugo deployment. I know how to handle the hugo side of things (just update the base URL in config to brimwats.com, removing the /me/. But if I just hit ‘uninstall app’ on wordpress will it automatically delete everything and then we will be good to go? are there files I should clean out of file manager just to save space, etc?

Thank you!

Hi there,

Apologies for resurrecting an old thread, but we’re currently digging through forum posts to ensure that we answer as many questions as we can even if only to have the information publicly available for the future. Hitting ‘uninstall app’ through Installatron will uninstall the application by deleting all of its files and databases, and you can install anything to the location. Be sure to empty the trash directory as well, as files there do count against your storage quota.
