Hiya. What I hope is a quick question: I’ve got two MediaWiki instances that I’ve dumped to static html files on my local machine. All seems to be working well with them. I want to replace the wikis with those static files at the same URLs. In order to do so, I need to uninstall MediaWiki. So I’ve used Installatron to back up to Dropbox… but I’m hoping to check that I’ll be able to restore from that remote backup if everything goes kerflooey. Any words of reassurance available? --K>
Yes absolutely! You can install from an installatron backup, or you can use Jetbackup to restore your entire account, or individual folders / databases.
Thanks – this is just what I needed to hear!
